We start by eliminating as many unnecessary ingredients and additives as possible. That is why our entire menu contains no artificial color, flavors (excluding flavored hot beverages), MSG, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial nitrates. This also allows us to offer many gluten-free and dairy-free options. When looking at the wide array of food that we are able to purchase, we feel less is more. We are constantly reevaluating our menu to see what can be eliminated or changed to make our food healthier, better quality, or more accessible to our allergy concerned guests.
We then source very high quality ingredients. We carry over a dozen organic items including chicken, milk, bread, eggs, maple syrup, carrots… Our beef is raised without the use of antibiotics. All of our seafood is wild caught. Our ham and bacon that we serve is all natural with no added artificial nitrates. Whenever feasible our produce is purchased fresh, not frozen or canned.
We finish by making most of our items from scratch in our kitchen. These include our waffle & GF waffles, homemade bread and jam, burger buns, chicken strips, salad dressings, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, and vegan granola. We also only use pure oils and real butter for all of our cooking and baking. We feel that making most of our items in house with real whole ingredients allows us to provide our guests with the best tasting food possible.
